Wearing a belt is tricky and may totally affect your figure, it may make you look slimmer than you are, make you look fatter, or make a waist and enhance your outfit. - If you have a rectangle body shape
You need a belt that makes you look more feminine, where it create waist and hips and makes your waist stand out. Go for a very visible wide belt. If you like wearing dresses then you may try a thin belt. You can also wear belts with your jackets and coats.
- Pear body shape
You need a belts to draw attention from your hips, so a belt should sit on the true waist or the under bust.
- Apple body shapeyou need a belt that helps in creating shape and covering the belly; wide belts is very good with hiding the stomach. You can wear belt around the hips as it will distract attention from your stomach. Go for dark colored matt belts.
- Hourglass body shape
This curvy figure needs dressing with care. You need to balance your figure out. Highlight your assets and lengthen your bust by wearing a belt just under your breasts along with high-waisted jeans to create the illusion of longer legs. Make round hips look slimmer by wearing a belt that is loose.
- If you're petite
You need to wear a belt that lengthens your figure. Don't go for anything too wide as it will make you look even shorter, just a simple belt. If you are wearing a dress you can wear the belt under your chest lengthens you. It’s better to use the same color as your outfit as different one will make you look shorter.
