She may know how to wow us with a show-stopping premiere-style wardrobe of sky-high heels and body-skimming minidresses, but off the red carpet, Gwyneth Paltrow favors a more laidback approach. That might be why for her first foray into fashion design, the actress is collaborating with Parisian jersey label, ZOEtee’s for the capsule collection appropriately called ZOEtee’s LOVES Gwyneth Paltrow.
The collection features elegant, monochromatic day-to-evening jersey dresses, mesh studded vests, slouchy jumpsuits, cotton leggings and easy to wear blazers that mix masculine fabrics with a ’70s glam-rock feel in fabrics such as recycled cottons and cashmere blends with prices starting around $165.
Although she doesn’t have a lot of design experience behind her, the actress was a natural fit for the label. “Gwyneth knows how to mix basics and give jersey an edge,” says Laure Pariente, Creative Director of ZOEtee’s. All proceeds from sales go to Kids Company, one of Paltrow’s favorite charities.
